revival [June 10th, 2009 @ 10:47pm]
okay, the last time i checked, i blogged almost 1 year ago. time flies; one year ago i was like everyone i saw in school today - mugging, mugging and mugging (and playing beach volleyball the day before blocks, lol).

life has changed drastically, i guess.

maybe some may say that having loads of free time to do whatever i want (OMG!) is awesome but i while the days away at the library, remembering dewey decimal numbers, maxing out my loan quota and picking out random books. but yeah, besides the boredom bit sometimes, it's pretty good to do whatever i want, whenever i want. :D

well anyway the past year has been pretty kind to me, i must say. the new year brought a lot of new friends and long-lost connections amidst existing close friends, all of whom i must say i will dearly miss. sometimes you never know who will be the ones you still keep in contact with until you actually leave them. but then again, the ones that really matter are those who leave but stay. :)

When time goes by [June 25th, 2008 @ 7:26pm]
[ mood | crushed ]

Just read Lihsia's LJ, and read her reminiscence about times in primary school. Primary school seems incredibly distant but I think it was really one of the best times in my life (no matter how much I say that I didn't quite like my school), plainly because it was one of the only times when I didn't exactly have to worry too much about studying, unlike now. Somehow primary school work was either a breeze or my intelligence is degenerating.

But anyway. It seems like primary school days were days where you didn't have to worry about your future, or about your work, or even the people around you. The older you get, the more things you think about. Then again, maybe it's just me. Or maybe, somehow when you get older, people just expect you to consider all the things you're expected to consider, and do what you're expected to. But I'd really like to be able to those days again, when we had so much to do with so much time. Now, the two are almost...inversely proportional? Haha. Too much physics.
